Made by False Bay Vineyards.

Peacock Wild Ferment is a collection of earlier drinking, yet refined wines, crafted from selected small vineyards parcels across the cooler coastal areas of the Schapenberg & Helderberg regions. Named after the brightly plumed birds conspicuous in and around our biodynamic vineyards. on the farm. The range comprises of five generous wines that are rounder in character and more forward in style. These wines are fermented with wild yeast – an unusual find at their price point.

Distinctive notes of plums and red berries, with subtle earthy notes accompanied by a touch of green herbs on the nose. A refreshing acidity on the palate makes this wine intriguing. It is perfect on its own or with a meal, as it has integrated tannins and a lingering length. I would recommend serving it slightly chilled, with a simple lamb chop on the braai.
