Peacock Wild Ferment is a collection of earlier drinking, yet refined wines, crafted from selected small vineyards parcels across the cooler coastal areas of the Schapenberg & Helderberg regions. Named after the brightly plumed birds conspicuous in and around our biodynamic vineyards. on the farm. The range comprises of five generous wines that are rounder in character and more forward in style. These wines are fermented with wild yeast – an unusual find at their price point.
This Sauvignon Blanc has great complexity and exudes citrus notes, gooseberries and mineral flavours on the nose. It has a lovely texture and persistence. Fresh acidity provides a long length on the palate. Enjoy it on its own or with a variety of fresh seafood dishes, especially grilled prawns!
